Smuggling of Nuclear clobberOver the past five years the former states of the Soviet coupler take aimntbeen able to prevent the leakage of thermo atomic material. Nuclear materials andtechnologies be more accessible now than at any other time in history, due tothe breakup of the Soviet Union and the worsening of economic conditions. Nolonger does the Soviet KGB, the Soviet military machine and the Soviet border guards agree the control to stop the smuggling of thermonuclear materials. With the Cold War universe over, there is a huge stockpile of over 100 nuclear sites (See Appendix A).Russia, alone has an inventory of 1,300 tons of gamely enriched uranium (HEU),and one hundred sixty-five tons of weapon usable plutonium. Such material is coming into elevateddemand on the market. Terrorist, organized crime and countries with nuclearambition, be high bid contenders for the material. The United States is alsobecoming involved for the safety of preventing a nuclear disaster. The U.S. hasjust begun their large task and with Russias worsening economy, smuggling ofnuclear material will continue.During the Cold War the security of Soviet nuclear weapons and missilematerials was based on a highly centralized military system and operating withina strong political authority. The workers spur wherefore where well disciplined andeach individual bracing his/her role. The workers were among the surpass treated andloyal to the Russian military. They are now suffering hardships and are forcedto scavenge anything to pay for their food, rent and social services.A new trend is already occurring with some of the workers .
